Greek Island Sojourn (Young Alumni)

August 1-10, 2009

When you think of Greece, don't you imagine yourself sunning on a sandy beach… eating exquisite grilled food at an outdoor café … hopping on a fishing boat for a ride to the neighboring islands… exploring ancient ruins … and meeting people who know the secrets to enjoying life? That's exactly what life is like in Greece, particularly on the idyllic islands of Mykonos and Santorini. Immerse yourself in the culture of this area, rich in ancient archaeological sites. Relax in your chaise by the sea, walk through a grove of lemon trees for lunch at a hidden taverna, ride a wave runner, read a good book and take a sunset cruise through the Aegean. At night, excitement invites from every corner, whether you’re strolling along the lively waterfront or dancing with all the abandon of Zorba the Greek. Walk the streets of Socrates and his students, whisper in the ancient amphitheaters, and revel in the land where civilization, as we understand it, commenced.

Cost: approximately $1,995 (land only, includes four specialty dinners)
