In an atmosphere of adventure and romance, journey with us beyond the reaches of civilization to the headwaters of the mighty Amazon River. Cruise along mysterious black-water rivers into remote jungles and discover exotic wildlife like pink river dolphins, colorful macaws and three-toed sloths. Trek through virgin rainforests with expert naturalists, visit indigenous villages, and spend one night in a tented camp in the Peruvian jungle. Cruise in comfort aboard one of the exclusively chartered Jewels of the Amazon, intimate vessels designed specifically to navigate the Amazon and evoke the 19th century’s golden age of exploration while providing 21st-century amenities. Each stateroom features private bath and individual climate control. On-board dining includes delicious Peruvian and international cuisine, and each vessel features specially designed observation decks, a full bar, and is equipped with excursion boats. In addition to the unsurpassed natural treasures of the Amazon, enjoy two nights in Lima, Peru’s cosmopolitan national capital and home to some of the finest colonial architecture in South America.
