What made you choose to come to Auburn?
I first started looking at schools with architecture programs. I also wanted a big SEC school because I was coming from a small independent school. I really decided on the atmosphere at Auburn because everybody was so friendly here.

How has receiving the Alumni Scholarship impacted your life? Receiving this scholarship has definitely taken a load off of my parents since they do not have to pay all of the out of state tuition.

What has been your best experience at Auburn so far? I loved the football games here. They were very intense this year! I think my best experience was getting to meet so many new people. I was put into a situation that I was not used to at all because I had gone to the same school with the same people for 12 years.

What would you say to a high school student from your area who is considering coming to Auburn University? I would tell this person that they need to be aware of how different Auburn is (like with the size of the school), but don’t let it discourage you. Auburn starts to feel a lot smaller after the first few months because you will usually see a lot of people you recognize anywhere you go.
