The front lawn of the Nichols Center was hopping (and hula-hooping) on Saturday, April 18, for the MAIN A-Day Tailgate. D.J. Ozz played a medley of classics for all ages, and kids (and some parents) enjoyed a hula-hoop contest, a visit with Aubie and plenty of great food. Special thanks to our Alumni PLUS scholars Jeanetta Thomas and Demetrius Gardner, and our co-hosts from the Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs. Next up:

The 2008 MAIN A-Day Tailgate was enjoyed by all. We reconnected with some old friends, made new ones and indulged in some amazing food! DJ Holleywood delighted us with music from across the generations. Over 100 people came out to show support for the MAIN program and everyone had a great time. We helped raise a lot of money for our Alumni PLUS scholarship, which supports minority scholarships, and enjoyed the great weather, with no rain!
