MAIN Event 2007 Recap

The Jazz Party was held on Friday, November 2, 2007 at the Alumni Center. Musical selections were provided by Columbus’s THE RELICS who brought many of our older alumni back to their younger days. We enjoyed delicious hors d'oeuvre, great wine and beer, and fine company. The special VIP Members Only Lounge was a great success as members of the Association enjoyed specialty drinks, snacks and a small thank you gift. People were reconnecting, dancing, eating and enjoying themselves till early in the morning.

The Tent Party was held on Saturday, November 3, 2007. The event was hosted by President and Mrs. Jay Gogue at the President’s Home. We were pleased to have Mr. Tommie Agee‘87 as the keynote speaker. We enjoyed a hot breakfast including grits & shrimp, fresh fruit, muffins and biscuits. Mr. Agee gave a motivating speech to our alumni that opened many hearts and minds and challenged us all to ‘get off the sidelines, and get into the game’.
