The Auburn Alumni Center
Welcome to the Auburn Alumni Center! The Auburn Alumni Center is more than a building. It is a story that continues to be written.
The tale began in September 1986 when Jerry Smith, executive director of the Auburn Alumni Association, former association president Robert D. Word Jr. '55 and other Auburn graduates asked to build a home on campus where they could reminisce with classmates, celebrate with family and network with clients. Thousands of individuals came together to make the dream a reality. They put their hearts into their work, and the result was more than a series of conference rooms attached to a banquet hall. They created an elegant venue that, while functional, was warm and welcoming.
Now, whether you are an Auburn alumnus or a friend, you can write yourself into the narrative.
Many hotels and conference centers can offer you a room—a space to hold your wedding, reunion, office party or seminar. But when you are inviting your closest friends and associates to join you for an unforgettable occasion, you want more than "a space".
You need a place that is as special as your event—as heartwarming as the memories you hope to create. Because of the spirit of family and friendship that first inspired its creation and guided its construction, the Auburn Alumni Center perfectly fills that need.
The next time you are dreaming of hosting your black-tie gala, awards banquet, conference or wedding, contact us. The Auburn Alumni Center and a committed staff stand ready to write you into our wonderful story.
