For more than a decade, the Auburn Alumni Association has explored opportunities to service minority alumni. Minority Alumni Involvement Now (MAIN) was developed to foster professional relationships among minority alumni of Auburn University by encouraging graduating seniors, recent graduates and other alumni to connect with each other. MAIN's Objectives are as follows:
Why do you contribute to the Alumni PLUS Scholarship benefiting minority students?
"When I was an undergrad student, I received many scholarships from individual contributors in addition to grants that allowed me to graduate free of student loans. I often wondered what drove those contributors to donate to someone they didn't even know. Now, as an alumna, I believe that desire to give is fostered by a yearning sensation to see [our] Auburn scholars graduate and represent Auburn University well throughout the country. I have grabbed the baton of contributing to the educational development of current and future Auburn Tigers by donating to the PLUS fund. I challenge all alumni to do the same." — Kristi N.
