FANS (Finding Auburn's New Students)
If you are willing to show prospective students what Auburn means to you, you can help the Undergraduate Recruiting and University Scholarship office by serving as a FANS volunteer. College recruiting is highly competitive, and with the assistance of alumni across the country, Auburn can expand awareness and interest among prospective students.
What do you need to become a volunteer?
- Are you willing to share your Auburn experience with others?
- Are you willing to attend or organize events in your area on behalf of Auburn?
- Do you enjoy talking to high school students and their parents?
If you have these characteristics, fill out the online volunteer form or contact Cindy L. Singley '79 in the Undergraduate Recruiting and University Scholarship office by phone (334) 844-7435 to join the program.
What kind of things are volunteers asked to do?
- Work at a College Fair
- Host a reception
- Recommend a student, an event, and/or a program in your area
What areas does Undergraduate Recruiting currently cover?
The staff covers Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Texas.
