Job Duties
Oversees design concepts and production for Auburn Magazine. Also
directs the design and production of print collateral and e-media for the association and Office of Alumni Affairs. Our work includes
programs and services, advertising and design needs from concepting complete
marketing campaigns, i.e. brochures, postcards, posters to overseeing the
Alumni Affairs website, social media and electronic communications. Supervises and mentors
communications staff comprised of Auburn Magazine art director,
web master, interns and student designers. Also oversees the department
budget.

BFA in Visual Arts, 1984 from Auburn University
Career
Other than working with Alumni Affairs and Auburn Magazine my design career has spanned from healthcare to high tech, industrial corporations to museums, and from packaging to electronic web design.

Husband, AU Graduate Dr. Doug Hankes '85, and Keegan, class of 2013 University of Chicago
Hobbies/Interests
meeting fellow artists, photography, bird watching, working
on clay sculptures, gardening, sustainability, and traveling, especially
to the Southwest
